By Francis Montesena
I want to catch the wave
And see what it hides
before it reaches the shore
and break its own tide.
I wish I was the wave
that could kiss the face
of this maiden shore
with crystal sand
and dainty shells.
I admire the wave for
having the courage
To touch
To reach
To kiss
I wish I could hide the envy
in the shallow grave of darkness.
I want it to die
And touch,
Reach,
Kiss
My own shore.
